Thank you for your interest in becoming a substitute here at Kennett High School. We always have a need for qualified, dedicated, motivated substitutes in many areas within our High School and Career Technical Center.

Substitutes provide a valuable service to our students and staff. They are "day-to-day" employees who have the flexibility to decide which days they want to work and in which classrooms and positions they want to accept assignments. We regularly have needs for classroom paraprofessionals, substitute teachers in traditional departments such as Science, English, Math, History, Language and Art, as well as in the Career Tech Center, substituting in Metals, Automotive, Building Trades and Culinary classes.

Substitute Pay Rates: $125 per day

KHS Bell Schedule: School is in session Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. with 41 minute classes.

Substitutes are required to be here at least 15 to 30 minutes prior to the start of school.
